Narion Regime Intelligence Proxy: reading the market in six dimensions.

The NQRF Composite Regime terminal brings Narion's six-dimensional regime vocabulary onto a standard TradingView chart. It answers one question: what market environment does this chart currently resemble? This guide explains how to read every element of it.

01 · THE CHART

Regime state, on the price chart.

The exact composite string is printed at the current bar while the indicator overlays the EMA structure, session VWAP and its ±0.20% / ±0.50% bucket bands. The background wash deepens with cycle-score conviction, a ribbon along the chart floor records the market-cycle state bar by bar, and a violet dot marks each volatility-expansion onset. Hover or touch the chart to inspect any bar.

Interactive demonstration: prices are generated in your browser to show how each field responds to market movement. This is not market data, and the derivation is simplified for illustration.

02 · THE TERMINAL PANEL

Every reading behind the label, in one panel.

The Institutional Terminal panel decomposes the composite into its dimensions, shows how the cycle score was built, and reports the market data the proxy is using. This panel is live and linked to the chart above.

COMPOSITEThe full six-part string in canonical order, the headline reading, in the same form printed on the chart tag.
I · REGIME DIMENSIONSEach dimension with its state and a gauge: cycle score, EMA50 slope, strength level, ATR ratio, VWAP position track and exhaustion score.
REGIME CLOCK & AGREEMENTHow long the current composite has held, and a −3 to +3 count of how many of cycle, trend and VWAP point the same way. Display aids only; they never feed the classification.
II · CYCLE DECOMPOSITIONThe cycle score and its parts: EMA alignment (±3), long-horizon slope (±2), price versus the long EMA (±2) and persistence (±2), plus bull and bear close ratios over 45 bars.
III · MARKET DATAPrice, EMA 50/200, VWAP distance, ATR ratio, impulse strength and retracement: the raw inputs, so any label can be checked against the numbers. Use the ledger toggle for a compact view.
03 · THE SIX DIMENSIONS

Read left to right, broad to specific.

The string is a hierarchy: the first field is the broadest context, the last the most local. Fields appear in this fixed order.

MARKET_CYCLEVERY_BULL · BULL · TRANSITION · BEAR · VERY_BEARFour recursive EMAs (23, 45, 91 and 182 bars on the 1-minute chart, standing in for the runtime's 900/1800/3600/7200 horizons), scored on alignment (±3), long-EMA slope (±2), price versus the 91 EMA (±2) and 45-bar persistence (±2), combined into a score: ≥ +7 VERY_BULL, ≥ +3 BULL, > −3 TRANSITION, > −7 BEAR, otherwise VERY_BEAR.

TREND_STRENGTHVERY_WEAK · WEAK · MODERATE · STRONG · VERY_STRONGEMA50/200 separation and the 10-bar EMA50 slope, mapped to fixed buckets. Categorical, not numerically identical to the runtime's calibrated model.
EXPANSIONCOMPRESSION · NORMAL · EXPANSIONATR20/ATR50: ≥ 1.20 EXPANSION, ≤ 0.85 COMPRESSION, otherwise NORMAL. Describes activity, never direction.
VWAP_BUCKETFAR_ABOVE · ABOVE · NEAR · BELOW · FAR_BELOWPrice distance from session VWAP: ≥ +0.50% FAR_ABOVE, +0.20% to +0.50% ABOVE, ±0.20% NEAR, −0.20% to −0.50% BELOW, ≤ −0.50% FAR_BELOW.

WORKED EXAMPLEVERY_BEAR|BEAR|MODERATE|EXPANSION|FAR_BELOW|RANGE
Read as one sentence: the broad cycle is very bearish, the intermediate trend is also bearish with moderate strength, activity is expanding, price sits materially below session VWAP, and there is no clear directional swing structure. It describes the environment, not a forecast.

Reading it: combine the six fields into one sentence, from the broad cycle down to the structural location. The result describes the environment, not a forecast that price will move in any direction.

05 · READING PRINCIPLES

Six rules for reading the composite.

The information is in how the six dimensions combine, not in any single field.

01

Never read one field alone

Identical fields carry different meaning in different combinations. The interaction between dimensions is the intelligence.

02

VWAP location is positional

FAR_BELOW means price is materially below value — not sell, not bearish. Research found the same location across regimes with different outcomes.

03

Expansion describes activity

EXPANSION and COMPRESSION describe the conditions in which direction is occurring. They do not point up or down.

04

Cycle and trend can disagree

VERY_BEAR|BEAR is internally aligned; VERY_BEAR|BULL marks a local move against the broad structure.

05

Labels are not verdicts

LATE_IMPULSE is not "bad", EXHAUSTION is not "good" or "reversal". They are different structural states that call for different interpretation.

06

Watch transitions

Compression → Normal → Expansion, or Mid → Late Impulse → Exhaustion, often say more than any single snapshot.

06 · PROXY AND RUNTIME

An observation interface, backed by a canonical engine.

The TradingView terminal keeps the six-dimensional architecture but replaces the production feature pipeline with calibrated 1-minute proxies. It is built for human recognition of regime context; the Python runtime remains the source of truth.

TRADINGVIEW PROXY

Observation

Visual regime context and neighborhood recognition on a conventional chart.

PYTHON NQRF RUNTIME

Canonical calculation

Confirms whether the production engine classifies the same state.

RESEARCH & POLICY

Evidence authority

Determines what the accumulated research evidence actually supports.

Narion's research tracks a family of related structural states around a bearish shell. The proxy lets you see when the chart is approaching that neighborhood:

VERY_BEAR|BEAR|MODERATE|COMPRESSION|FAR_BELOW|RANGE

07 · COMMON QUESTIONS

Quick answers before you start.

What does the NQRF Composite Regime terminal show?

A six-part regime string in fixed order: MARKET_CYCLE, TREND, TREND_STRENGTH, EXPANSION, VWAP_BUCKET and LOCATION. It answers one question: what market environment does this chart currently resemble?

Is the TradingView proxy the same as the NQRF runtime?

No. The proxy keeps the six-dimensional architecture but uses calibrated 1-minute approximations. It is not numerically identical to the canonical Python NQRF runtime, which remains the source of truth.

Does a regime label give a buy or sell signal?

No. Regime labels describe a market environment. They are not execution signals or trading advice and carry no guarantee of any outcome.

08 · SCOPE & DISCLOSURE
WHAT THIS TOOL IS AND IS NOTThe Narion Regime Intelligence Proxy is a visualization and research-context tool. It is not numerically identical to the canonical NQRF runtime, does not independently validate any regime, and does not generate execution signals or trading advice. Regime labels describe an environment; they carry no guarantee of any outcome, and the research neighborhood referenced above remains under study. Leveraged instruments carry substantial risk of loss, and any use is at your own risk.
